AMMANN APR 40/60 Hd Compactor

The APR 40/60 is a versatile two-way compactor with a Honda gasoline engine. The machine’s weight is around 300 kg and ultimately depends on the engine used and any additional equipment; its 42 kN compaction force allows it to work in the heaviest soil. The machine can be used to compact almost any type of soil, as well as paved and gravel surfaces approximately 10 cm thick. The continuously variable hydraulic control system, which allows for changing the direction of operation, greatly facilitates the machine’s use.

The APR 40/60 features a 60-cm-wide cast working plate. Operating the compactor is made easier by the ability to adjust the engine speed on the control handle, as well as by the optional electric engine start. An elastomer plate is available as an optional accessory for surface compaction of paving stones and cobblestones.
