IADC 637 6” Roller Drill Bit
- In-house service and spare parts
- Technical advice: +48 695 438 850
Catalog number: S-71579
Description
The 6” IADC 637 roller bit is a highly efficient, advanced drilling tool designed for use in hard and very dense rock formations. Unlike tools with milled steel teeth, this model is equipped with durable cemented carbide inserts (TCI), which ensure extreme abrasion resistance and superior penetration capability in challenging geological formations.
The use of an advanced sealed bearing ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in demanding downhole conditions, effectively protecting the mechanism from the effects of drilling fluid. Additional reinforcement of the cutting section and protection of the tool’s diameter (caliber) allow for precise maintenance of a constant borehole diameter even in highly abrasive environments.
Technical data:
- Diameter: 6″
- IADC Code: 637 (sintered carbides – TCI)
- Connection: 2 7/8R (or other as specified)
- Bearings: Sealed
Key features:
- Teeth made of high-quality cemented carbides (TCI) for rock and very dense soils
- sealed bearing – significantly extended service life and system reliability
- additional protection for the drill bit to prevent wear on the outer diameter
- Good penetration in hard and abrasive formations
- stable operation and high drilling efficiency
- Optimized hydraulics for efficient flushing and removal of cuttings
Application:
- drilling in hard and very hard rocks (including hard limestone, sandstone, and dolomite)
- geotechnical and technical work requiring drilling
- well drilling and hydrogeological drilling
- Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) in challenging geological conditions
