CERTIX G Base

CERTIX G Base is an activated bentonite obtained from high-quality raw materials located in southern and central Europe. The product, due to its versatility, is widely used in geotechnical applications. It is characterized by a montmorillonite density of min. 60%.

APPLICATION

Certix G Base can be used for filling conduit pipes in cable lines, in the entire voltage range of their construction and operation. It is used in the construction of medium voltage cable lines (15-20 kV) and in 110 kV cable lines, due to their large share in distribution networks. It can be used for pipe filling in trenches, jacking and or jet grouting .

Certix G Base conductive bentonite is a thermally stable duct filling compound, also used for backfilling cable trenches containing copper electrodes such as ground rods, The grounding compound absorbs moisture from surrounding soils, reducing contact resistance and thus effectively increasing the size of copper ground rods installed and buried in the cable trench.
