Description
Leak-proof casing for deep wells WITHOUT BOTH holes
The casing is used to protect the bore of a deep well and to install a pumping system in it. Plastic casing is an excellent alternative to casing made of concrete coils.
Advantages of housing made of plastic:
- 100% airtightness compared to concrete coil housing
- The tightness of the housing protects the installation and equipment installed in it from flooding
- The plastic housing is much lighter and easier to transport
- it can be installed by yourself, without the use of heavy equipment
- made of plastic, the manhole (lid) is lightweight and easy to remove compared to heavy concrete manholes
- the housing has a footing that allows it to be firmly planted on the bottom of the excavation and prevents the housing from being pushed out by groundwater
The manhole is manufactured by shaping and welding polypropylene plates. The wall of the casing is made of polypropylene plate with a thickness of 6mm, the top and bottom have a thickness of 10mm. High-quality plastic, used in the production of the housing, guarantees its stability and durability. Plastic sumps for deep wells do not require maintenance. The casing is closed from the top with a lid (the lid has no thread, it is applied to the chimney of the casing). Height of the entire enclosure: 125 cm
Manholes should be installed in green areas (lawns, orchards, etc.). Properly protected with sand with cement, it can be installed in areas where groundwater is present.
Technical specifications:
- material of construction: polypropylene board with a thickness of 6 mm (wall), 10 mm (top and bottom)
- 2 steps, facilitating the descent to the bottom (mounted inside the housing)
- total height of enclosure: 100 cm + chimney 25 cm
- unbored
- Internal diameter of the housing about 96 cm
- Internal diameter of the chimney about 58.5 cm
- easy installation and low weight of about 40 kg
- resistant to chemical compounds and corrosion
- resistant to high and low temperatures
- requires no maintenance
Installation of the housing in a location with high groundwater levels should be carried out according to the following instructions:
- dig a hole of sufficient width (so that there is a free space of about 30 cm between the casing and the walls of the excavation)
- the casing should be backfilled with sand mixed with cement
- carry out backfilling in layers of about 25 cm (compact and tamp)
- the bottom of the well should be leveled and planted on a layer of sand with cement about 10 cm
Installation of housing where there is no high groundwater level:
- level the area where the tank is to be installed
- backfill evenly around the perimeter with fine earth or sand to a height of about 5 cm from the top edge of the manhole chimney
- once the area has been leveled, allow safe access to the manhole
- secure the area around the housing against unauthorized access
