Description

The GRUNDORAM KOLOSS Piling Machine – the machine’s most common application is dynamic pipe driving. Thanks to its impact energy, the pneumatically driven pile driver penetrates the ground horizontally, enabling the efficient, trenchless installation of utility or casing pipes made of steel with a nominal diameter of up to 4,000 mm for the construction of pipelines, drainage, as well as the construction of underpasses and pipe shields for tunnel boring in the shortest possible time.

However, the GRUNDORAM machine is capable of much more: for example, it can assist with horizontal directional drilling in challenging conditions, dynamically repair damaged pipes as a cracker, install foundations and piles, construct wells, and drive sheet piles during vertical installation.

Advantages of GRUNDORAM:

  • Segmented rings for securely locking the control unit
  • Permanently mounted flexible control pin —gentle on the material even under heavy loads
  • Piston slide bands prevent friction between the piston and the housing, reducing wear
  • Sturdy, one-piece housing —extremely durable, with no welds or screw connections
  • Thread for screwing in a tow eye for pipe disinfection tasks
  • A sturdy, hardened piston that ensures greater durability and a longer service life
  • Chrome-plated internal housing to reduce wear and ensure long-lasting high performance
  • Piston seals reduce air leakage, thereby increasing performance and efficiency
