The 5 ton hydraulic winch cable winch is mainly designed for pulling in earth cables and pipes in culverts. The pulling speed is 80m /min , the max diameter of the cable is 10mm. One hydraulic circuit allows continuous speed change in both directions from the control panel. A pair of multi-sheave steel winches designed to pull the wire rope, with guide rollers. Each machine manufactured by Omac is equipped with an electronic DEG recorder with USB port for recording all data as option 069.2.

Major changes in internal combustion engines have made the power of the installed engine an important parameter for cable winches with a pulling power of about 5 tons. Many manufacturers, are trying to reduce the selling price of machines by mounting lower-powered engines that do not require additional DPF-type filters. Unfortunately, mounting weaker engines of, for example, 15-18 kW instead of 30-40 KW and using appropriate gearboxes results in a significant reduction in the speed of pulling cables, especially at higher pulling force. In such winches, the pulling speed drops to as low as 0 km/h, which directly translates into working time and financial losses. In our experience, customers are dissatisfied with winches with weaker motors.
