vLoc3 Underground Utility Locator-Pro is an innovative device from Megger (VIVAX METROTECH), designed for the precise mapping of underground cables and pipelines and the effective detection of utilities prior to the start of construction work. Thanks to selective signal reception in three-dimensional space via two 3D antenna arrays, the device provides extremely accurate measurements while precisely indicating the degree of electromagnetic field distortion.

The system offers a wide range of innovative and alternative screens on a very bright 4.3-inch LCD display (readable even in direct sunlight). In addition to the standard classic view, the system features, among other things, a revolutionary vector guidance screen (allowing you to determine the location and depth without having to stand directly over the cable), a top-down view screen (horizontal projection of the installation), an advanced field analysis screen, and an intuitive, graphical signal probe location screen.

The vLoc3-Pro receiver offers as many as eight passive and active location modes, with configurable operating frequencies ranging from 16 Hz to 200 kHz. It internally stores up to 50 million measurement data records. Optionally, the receiver can be expanded with dedicated modules: a Bluetooth communication module for integration with an external GPS, an EMS module for locating markers (in the form of an attachable foot), and an A-Frame adapter for pinpointing damage to cable sheaths.
